We already talked to you about how to put the commas correctly, but now we are going to tell you where not to put them. Sometimes, to try to clarify the text, to let the reader breathe more than necessary or because we believe that, if we pause while speaking, we will also have to do it when writing, we screw up by putting commas that do not correspond.

You must learn to write well and write correctly and that includes the use of commas (although we find it heavy).
Never put a coma …
- Between the subject and the verb
When we speak we make pauses that we should not reflect in the written language. This is the case with sentences like this: “Students who do not attend classes regularly during the course will not be able to take final exams.” This goes without commas, even if the reader chokes.
The subject of this sentence is “students who do not attend classes regularly during the course”, and between the subject and the verb of the sentence is never comma. It is a very common mistake to put it (criminal coma). When speaking or reading, there would be a pause: “Students who do not attend classes regularly during the course // will not be able to take final exams”, but should not be marked in writing.
We would only put a comma if there was a subsection: “Students who do not attend classes regularly during the course, even if they justify their absence, will not be able to attend the final exams.
The same happens when the subject has several elements separated by commas: “My parents, my teachers, my boyfriend, my classmates want me to introduce myself.” The subject is «My parents, my teachers, my boyfriend, my classmates», and even though when speaking there is a pause, you cannot put a comma: «My parents, my teachers, my boyfriend, my classmates // they want me to introduce myself ».
The exception is only when there is an etcetera: “My parents, my teachers, my boyfriend, my classmates, etc., they want me to introduce myself.”
- After putting but and before an exclamation point or question mark
Another pause that is usually made when we speak is after but when it is followed by admiration or questioning: “But why don’t you introduce yourself?” However, never eat after but and before the exclamation point or question mark.
- Before so much
Will not eat before that with consecutive sense in the expressions they use so much. “I’m so nervous that I can’t remember anything.” In reading and speaking there is a pause, but a comma is not put in writing.
- In causal sentences of the statement
“I have failed because I have not attended class” does not have a comma because we are explaining the cause of the failure. mostly ghostwriting services provider’s mange perfect causal sentences.
- In the emphatic repetitions
It does not go comatose in the emphatic repetitions: “I have been a silly fool for not introducing myself.”
- At the top of letters or emails
It is incorrect to write: «Dear professor, / I am attaching the requested work». In Spanish the two points are used for this case: «Dear teacher: / I am attaching the requested work».
